19-Year-Old Cellist Sheku Kanneh-Mason Makes History At Royal Wedding


Sheku kanneh-mason a 19 year old cellist and first black musician to win the BBC Young Musician of the year put up an incredible performance at the royal wedding Saturday 19th may 2018.

Sheku who's parents are from Sierra Leone was awarded the royal philharmonic society young instrumentalist Duet prize 2016 and nominated for the Times South Bank breakthrough award 2017.He made it known to the public on April 24th 2018 that he has been asked by madam Markle to perform at the royal wedding.

The 19 year old has been highly appreciated by Sierra Leoneans all over the world as they took up on social media to talk about his wonderful performance that left everyone completely speechless at the royal wedding as some describing his kind of talent is unbelievable.

Mr.kanneh-mason who is a member of the Chineke orchestra, soloist and BAFTA performer is expected to release his debut album this year 2018.
