Ghanaian dancehall singer Stonebwoy and Leg Over hit maker Mr Eazi are among shortlisted acts for the award of BET Best International Act: Africa.
Stonebwoy earns the nomination a second time after 2015 (which he won).
Other acts include Starboy frontman Wizkid, Tekno, Davido (Nigeria), as well as AKA, Nasty C, and Babes Wodumo (Souh Africa).
The pop star is nominated for seven awards at the 2017 BET Awards, the network told The Associated Press on Monday. The show will take place June 25 at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles.
Bruno Mars follows Beyoncé with five nominations.
Other acts from the continent include Starboy boss Wizkid, Tekno, Davido (Nigeria), as well as AKA, Nasty C, and Babes Wodumo (Souh Africa).
The 2017 edition of the awards is scheduled for the Microsoft Theatre on June 25.
